[edit] Kernel Config

Works with gentoo kernel 2.6.24-r6. As of 16 of July 2008 ATI's Proprietary drivers do not work with kernels >=2.6.25 because of absence of kernel symbol init_mm. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

CPU Yes dual core, cpufreq, integrated heat sensors (Needs kernel 2.6.22 with CONFIG_SENSORS_CORETEMP set)
ACPI Yes Buttons: power, brightness (requires a BIOS update to Windows XP compatible version). AC Connector: plug, unplug (needs acpid)
DVD-Recorder Yes read/write tested.
Touchpad Yes Requires some tweaking in xorg.conf to make vertical scrolling work.
USB Yes Tested with external card-reader, mouse, usb flashstick.
Wired ethernet Yes
Wireless ethernet Yes See this guide
Bluetooth Yes Not tested yet.
X11 Yes xorg 7.2 + fglrx + aiglx + dri runs compiz at 1280x800. Yet, fullscreen video is blinking.
Sound Yes ALSA intel-hda driver. Built as module from kernel tree. Built in speakers, headphone conecteor, built in microphone and external work, yet the sound from built-in microphone is very quiet. Tested with skype and gizmo.
Firewire Yes not tested.
Internal SD card reader Yes
software suspend (suspend2-sources) No ATI's fglrx has problems in tuxonice. I'm looking into it currently.
Multimedia keys Partial Keypressing emit scancodes, yet they are not defined in keymaps.
Built-in webcam Yes Works with external driver linux-uvc. Tested with skype.
Internal modem No Not tested
External monitor No Not tested
Suspend to ram No Not tested
