[edit] add category?

How about adding [[Category:HOWTO]] to the include section to auto add pages that use this template? I think the candidate for deletion template does this. --Ghettodev 06:58, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

While this would significantly reduce the count of uncategorised pages I strongly disagree with this. In my opinion blanket categories are appropriate for things like candidate for deletion, where the category include provides a significant advantage in ease of use, but not for HARDWARE/HOWTO, where the articles can easily be given an appropriate subcategory. --Cav 06:52, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
