For Wish List#Protected File Tools -- Minor Annoyances:

  • A simple script to show a diff of the ._cfg000_foo.conf and foo.conf and allow me to edit them, side by side.
  • A simple script to scan the CONFIG_PROTECT directories and show me the files that need to be changed.

Even better -- just install via Knoppix and you'll have a whole online, function, graphical work environment as you install. The only downside is not being able to run `mirrorselect'. For more on this installation method, see The Alt Install Guide. Arenium 10:40, 25 Jun 2005 (GMT)
