What are the cpudetection, custom-cflags musepack xvmc flags for?

cpudetection allows mplayer to detect your CPU at runtime to enable CPU-specific instructions. custom-cflags allows you to use your own CFLAGS with mplayer, and is not recommended. musepack enables support for MPC music files. xvmc enables the XVideo Motion Compensation driver.04:34, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] pre7 ?!

The article states that information in this article is for ebuild of pre7 version of mplayer. That one is really old and not even more in portage. Could someone help to check which information is still valid for versions rc1 and newer? --Kraymer 00:38, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
