The only thing I could add is to mention the ebuilds for the
tools you used.  That said, it works for me.

[edit] Filesystem

I am wondering, if this should really advise you to use ext3. A flash drive has only a finite number of writes -- which generally is not a problem, but a journaling filesystem (such that ext3 is) significantly increases the number of writes to the drive. Much like the Asus EEE PC, which uses ext2 for this reason, I would imagine ext2 is the best choice. Ieatlint 06:54, 16 February 2008 (UTC)


[edit] Bootloader

I was trying this with the live-cd from version 2008.0 beta. And then it is not working from Add The Bootloader I do only see GRUB as bootloader on the CD-image.
