Talk:HARDWARE DivX DVD Players

If someone knows how to make DivX-compatible movies with ffmpeg or transcode (that actually PLAY with zero problems on the hardware), please post some examples here. I don't know how to use anything but MEncoder, so that's why that's all there is.

Also, this is worth mentioning... while the Philips DVP-630 plays DivX movies great, it sucks overall as a DVD player. My Sony has much better movie-watching options (like resume play). Plus, the remote control is totally non-intuitive. SDibb
