considering the popularity of the MBP, the previous message and my own mistake, I thought appropriate to add the foreword and a link to the MBP hardware page.

I also moved the page to give it a better name (added HARDWARE keyword + Apple)

[edit] SSSE3 instructions in GCC?

The version of gcc that Apple bundles with the Mac OS X (4.0.1 build 5367) is capable of SSSE3 instructions with the command line option -mmni. Has this been backported to mainline sources yet?
