Hi!

I have added a link to a gentoo forum thread, where a script called prlock (Portage Rsync Lockdown) is presented. Is it possible to upload this script to the wiki? I tried to do so but found only ways to upload image files. This way there could be a central place to keep the script updated.

I'd consider linking to the forum thread a much better solution. The forum thread is more likely to be maintained and contain information on any bugs or known problems with the script.

Hello! I think this idea should be built in the system somehow. I mean, this is a very good solution to reduce the load on the rsync servers, and the users' machines. So there should be a software, that would manage this, instead of the user, and can enable/disable ebuilds...
