The Camulus Desktop [1] is a Linux friendly desktop setup with intel graphics and dual head capable. I have yet to get dual head working under Gentoo though :-(

The machine offers a Socket 775 for Intel Core processors, Intel GMA 950 graphics (VGA D-Sub + DVI-D), Intel HD Audio (1 x Line-In/Line-Out(Front L/R)/Mic-in, 1 x Back Surround LR/Side Surround LR/Center LFE, 1 x S/PDIF-out (Optical)), Intel LAN (RTL), USB and a selection of solid state card readers (1 x 2-in-1 Card Reader (MMC, SD), 1 x CF card reader, 1 x MS/MS Pro card reader).

Should work out of the box with VIDEO_CARDS="i810". Remember the DID output is a DVI-D so you need a monitor with DVI input (and not a DVI to VGA converter) if you want to get dual head working.
