Special keys	Yes	Fn+VolumeUp, VolumeDown, Mute key emit valid keycodes, can be assigned to X sympols with xmodmap and connected to some software mixer. Fn+Brightness Up/Down buttons work entirely in hardware. RF Kill button works in hardware: iwlwifi driver is aware of it, bluetooth acts as if it was unplugged from USB, unknown efects in HSDPA modem
ExpressCard slot	Untested	Should work. See ExpressCard
External monitor	Untested	Should work and be hot-pluggable, you may xrandr command
Suspend to ram	Yes	Works with standard in-kernel suspend-to ram, just issue echo mem > /sys/power/state, no quirks, module unloadings, hibernate-scripts needed. Wi-Fi, sound, everything tested to work after mutliple suspend-to-ram cycles. :)

the sound is very poor and low. I am using XP and the fujitsu siemens in malta told me that there is nothing much one can do about it.
